Best Testimonial Examples & Best Practices in UI/UX Design in 2026

Various studies show that customer testimonials play an important role in the potential client’s purchase decision. According to various recent studies, about 92% of customers consider online reviews when planning to purchase a product or service. So, the UI design for testimonials and reviews must be of higher quality in order to gain the trust of customers.

The testimonials page on a UI design website is probably the most important page for an online brand or business. Think about the fact that you can discover from an ad a new brand that seems interesting with high-quality products and services. Even if you haven’t tried them in real life, the customer’s testimonials can help you decide if the product or service will satisfy your needs or if you should look for a similar product from another brand.

Why Testimonials Matter?

Testimonials play a critical role in UI/UX design because they can build trust and influence decisions. Also at the same time reviews can provide social proof, the concept where users tend to trust and follow the previous experience of other users. More importantly, FOMO, also known as Fear of Missing Out is usually triggered when potential customers see positive feedback.

On the other hand, testimonials have a higher chance of boosting conversion rates. So, when backed up by traditional advertisements, the reviews can significantly increase conversion rates.

Best Testimonial UI/UX Practices in 2026

Now, testimonials and reviews are no longer just text blocks. Instead, UI/UX practices should focus more on interactivity, personalization, and authenticity.

Video Testimonial Examples

Currently, video testimonials are probably the most engaging social proof, due to the fact that the short, friendly clips have a higher chance of keeping users engaged. More importantly, TikTok testimonials can go viral overnight, because influencers and ordinary people have the ability to provide authentic reactions to products or services. This way brands will attract more customers.

For example, bigger brands such as Sephora, Nike, or even technology brands have started to integrate user-generated video testimonials. This type of review even if it works best on social media platforms, in UI/UX design must be added directly to the product or service dedicated page, or even in the reviews section, in order to have a more complex purchasing experience.

Interactive Testimonials Examples

Instead of displaying long reviews from customers, many brands now choose to present customer testimonials in various forms, such as carousel sliders or expandable sections.

For example, Amazon, which is known for its large customer testimonial base, is using review fragments in order to give users the opportunity to read the key points in a short period of time. This way, Amazon will keep its potential customers interested in a specific product while maintaining a minimalist and easy-to-understand design.

Customer Stories Testimonial Examples

If the UI/UX website design has enough resources to create a whole new section, customer stories can have a significant impact on how potential customers see the overall brand. Make sure that the UI/UX design is well-developed in order to offer users an easy-to-navigate testimonial page while keeping them engaged.

A great customer story testimonial design will surely motivate all its visitors and intrigue them to consider purchasing a product or service from that specific website.

Best Testimonials Examples from Leading Brands

Airbnb uses authentic reviews from guests along with real photos in order to maintain credibility among potential customers. The testimonial section includes very detailed reviews of experiences that transform the renting platform to feel more trustworthy and influence booking decisions.

Dribbble - the testimonials page from Dribbble transforms the basic reviews into a friendly way of expressing your opinion. Called “Our Wall of Love,” it was specially designed to display all the opinions from the UI/UX community. While it is designed with a simple and minimalistic touch, they are focused on showing the text and the speaker’s name. So, the photo integration is making the testimonials feel more authentic.

Slack represents another good example for testimonials because sometimes simple things can make a big difference in UI/UX design. They have separate testimonials from various companies, where they express their opinions and the benefits of using Slack in their work environment.
